The woman was being cooperative, and *someone called her,* and she answered her phone... and the police *allowed* it. I don’t get into your car unless I honestly know you. But the “we don’t know what happened to the driver to this day” part is buts. They had his phone. They would’ve asked her cousin/whoever & followed up. Fingerprints in phone. Seems like lazy casework to me
I just had the craziest thought- what if a police vehicle was parked in such a way that suspicious people couldn't just drive off? Just a thought, don't know if it would work...
Hard to believe, but some states have made it illegal to box in suspects, even during car chases where they’re obviously breaking law and endangering the public. That’s why you’ll see a bunch of cop cars finally force someone to stop, and a clear egress route. California of course is one, also think Michigan is another. Crazy.
Not true. Sometimes you really don’t know. I am currently sober and have been for a little over 3 years but in active addiction I did get a warrant for missing a traffic ticket court date that I completely forgot about. Therefore my friend I DID NOT know I had a warrant. So your comment is not true
I was about the say not true, I had no idea I had a bench warrant in another county until one day I ran into a cop I knew and he told me “yaknow you have a warrant right?” And I mean it was 3 years when it was issued and I only found out in 2023 and thankfully just had to pay 300$
I have wondered that for a long time. Maybe some day they will teach them in their academies which direction cars can roll (front and backward) and which direction they can't (sideways) and park their cruisers accordingly. How many times even in a chase do you see them stop the car, but don't box it in, and the guy just takes off again.

99% of people who ash their cigarette on the ground will also throw it on the ground. I’ve never ever seen a smoker besides myself keep the cigarette butt once finished to properly dispose. This ordinance has my full support and it should be nationwide.
I can see why it is now though. As in certain states the ash can lead to a wild fire. This first time I’ve heard of someone getting a ticket for it though.
thats what im saying dude i know they do anything they can to get contact but thats some strait Orwellian shit....ngl reconsidering the strength of support
You can’t ash through the window and also get arrested for jaywalking. What kind of a North Korean police state is that?!? The land of the free my ***. Nothing more dangerous to the public than bored cops.
He injured his own passenger too. Who wants to bet she'll still trick for him, tho? Notice her pimp call her on the phone? I sure did... (Edit: the girls who called, thats the pimps other girls. When he heard the cops were there he hung up and told them to call her and make sure she's sticking to the script and isnt snitching.)
The two PO's look and act as if they just graduated from the academy. Why didn't they block him in to begin with? Why didn't one of them give chase? Are they mall cops? Sad.
I'm not sticking up for any of the crimes they may have committed. But this was a bullshit stop. We live in a fucking police state and this is disgusting.
A teaching moment for LEOs, who don't already get this... When a positive return comes back, before telling the suspect to exit the vehicle, deploy stop sticks.
Giving a person a ticket for littering from flicking her ashes out the window is ridiculous. I have heard of cops doing that one before too. Just another way of insulting people and getting them angry to start with.
This legit sounds like she got a ride from a friend of hers to Walmart. She got hit with a bs jaywalking ticket before so she'll be asking anyone for a ride
ALOT of people flick their cigarettes or tossing the cigarettes out of a car while driving and do not care who is behind them might end up damaging somebody’s car.
A false accusation about a year ago got my brother arrested last month and he had no clue there was a warrant. He's been on probation this whole time over a non related situation and has really cleaned up his life. Now this happened after an unlicensed driver hit his car driving down the street leaving me pointing out that not every person with a warrant knows it's there and it can really be a disaster for some people.
Why are people hating on the guy in the hat? All he did was make sure Methany was ok. All he saw was her get grazed by a moving vehicle, and the cops abandoning her and jumping out of the way. No one checked on her until he came over.
Are you kidding me? He was 100% spot on. That suspect should have been fired on once he hit that officer backing up. These cops didn't even block him in or chase after him. Then to top all of that incompetence you have the one cop being a dolt to a good samaritan. It's clear this is the mickey mouse crew.
Have 19 years in law enforcement and I've never heard anyone claim that ashing a cigarette on ground is littering. Hell we don't even consider tossing cigarette on ground to be littering. Must be a super boring area they work in.
I don't know that stranger I just met him and asked for a ride I met him through my cousin . I don't have his phone number I don't know if my cousin has his number either. Why can't cops say to their face WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU LYING TO ME LIAR?
Bruh they really arrested this woman for failure to appear on jaywalking - a petty misdemeanor - after she got ran tf over? This is why people don't call police. You can bet your bottom dollar if there was an issue in the future she won't call them.

Can't believe you can't even "ash" your cigarette out the window of a car! That's some harsh littering laws right there!
I have never heard that before. I guess camp fires are out too then.
"Why aren't they going after him?"
Exactly what all the viewers are wondering.
"Ash out the window is littering." That is the dumbest statement that I've heard in a long, long time, and I'm on their side.
99% of people who ash their cigarette on the ground will also throw it on the ground. I’ve never ever seen a smoker besides myself keep the cigarette butt once finished to properly dispose. This ordinance has my full support and it should be nationwide.
@@ChrisB-xw7unwell now you have, because that what I do. Ash out the window but cig butt goes in a can.
I can see why it is now though. As in certain states the ash can lead to a wild fire. This first time I’ve heard of someone getting a ticket for it though.
thats what im saying dude i know they do anything they can to get contact but thats some strait Orwellian shit....ngl reconsidering the strength of support
@@ChrisB-xw7un lol ngl this is peek..im good but youre obviously not
Damn....I haven't seen those waterfall bangs on a girl since the 80s😂😂
If you're gonna pull someone out. Why wouldn't you pull your squad up closer behind the vehicle to avoid this?
You can’t ash through the window and also get arrested for jaywalking. What kind of a North Korean police state is that?!? The land of the free my ***. Nothing more dangerous to the public than bored cops.
That grandma almost got ran over
By a reindeer.... felon....
She probably got that guack guack 3000
6:10 When did Slash from Guns N'Roses move to Mount Laurel NJ?
🤣
Sooo, that just let the dude drive off, after striking Officers and the passenger, without giving chase? WTF!!??
Back privilege is off the charts.
Aye 😂 This was a Petty Ass Stop that Got Petty Ass Results 😅😅😅
Period 😂 basically lying about the violations people are not playing around with this corrupt government
Those cops are seriously pathetic and abused their power and showed how weak they are when shit got serious.
These people are supposedly adults. The lady is talking like she is in the ghetto. Calling everyone “Bruh”! Drives me crazy.
A warrant out for her for j-walking?!
Bruh these officers put the "petty" in "petty misdemeanor"
Letting people take phone calls while being detained…horrible police work
The two PO's look and act as if they just graduated from the academy. Why didn't they block him in to begin with? Why didn't one of them give chase? Are they mall cops? Sad.
Police Academy, the movie.
Tht cop lied, first he said she threw out the cigarette, thn when she showed it in her hand,he said seatbelt
No. The cop said SHE threw out a butt and HE wasn't wearing a seatbelt. She just lit another cigarette, that was all. Chain smokers do that.
New Jersey so weak
No ashing
No shopping bags
No liquor
No pumping your own fuel
Very high property tax
🤬🤮🤮🤮🤮
In my country we call these cops, candy cops
WHy would they not block him in? This is like the 3rd time in the past 3 days I've seen them not block someone in and then the person takes off
I'm not sticking up for any of the crimes they may have committed. But this was a bullshit stop. We live in a fucking police state and this is disgusting.
"Government in it's best state is but a necessary evil; in it's worse, an intolerable one"
-Thomas Paine
TODD, I'm with you 100%
A teaching moment for LEOs, who don't already get this... When a positive return comes back, before telling the suspect to exit the vehicle, deploy stop sticks.
Giving a person a ticket for littering from flicking her ashes out the window is ridiculous. I have heard of cops doing that one before too. Just another way of insulting people and getting them angry to start with.
They brought her in for a warrant for JAYWALKING Bruh.
Shouldn't tell a criminal he's wanted while he is sitting behind a steering wheel.
"We have to put you in cuffs."
"For what?"
"Since you are considered wanted"
"Oh! Yeah okay."
The fact that he’s driving and claims to not have his DL with him tells you something important.
So weird they never know the person they are in the cars with or the people they are shoplifting with. How strange.
Why do all of these people speak as though the only cultural environment they had ever been exposed to was gangsta rap videos?
Smokey the Bear told me that ashing out of the window is also a fire hazard.
He probably traded 6 goats for that Newport Fetcher. Decent shape on her, nice crack addict height to wait ratio. No teeth getting in the way.
😮😂
Frfr 😂😂
I’ve never heard someone rating a crackhead before. Idk whether to applaud or boo to be honest
@@WafflesWithGabagool assessment measures necessary to every gentleman ~ !

Methany sure is shook up.
Drug addicts playing drug addict games.
My mama always said, "As stupid is as stupid does."
They were lying she didn't throw shit out of the window
It’s cause they just wanna have any reason to pull them over.
@Blake_Drago Two seconds later after she shows the ciggarette uhhhh seatbelt 🤣
How is ashing littering? It degrades. This cop gonna write tickets to people throwing banana peels into the woods? Cops a clown.
I get the impression that Walmart is a classy place to shop. It must be so popular that Walmart features so often in similar posts.
Unfortunately, I shop there because it’s very cheap. Motivated me to finish school and get a good job. It’s awful in there
It's everywhere and has put all of the small local stores out of business.
"Just a court date? Oh, OK." This isn't her first rodeo.
Litter bugs are the worst. No surprise this led to more crimes.
She asked a cigarette
Why are people hating on the guy in the hat? All he did was make sure Methany was ok. All he saw was her get grazed by a moving vehicle, and the cops abandoning her and jumping out of the way. No one checked on her until he came over.
6:07 - Slash should mind his own business
Haha. I thought the same thing!!At least the cops showed a little patience. Yeah
@@damidnightgolfer agree with your serious assessment. My comment was one tasked with humour …
Have 19 years in law enforcement and I've never heard anyone claim that ashing a cigarette on ground is littering. Hell we don't even consider tossing cigarette on ground to be littering. Must be a super boring area they work in.
It takes 5 years for the environment to decompose one cigarette butt. Yes. It's littering
Ash can cause a wild fire.
This has to be California! Cops have just given up and criminals get out the same day....
I saw Mount Laurel on the squad car. Is that New Jersey?
Cigarette ashes is considering littering? Dang 😳
That’s such a bullshit reason lol. I’d take that to court and 100% get off
Ashes can be a problem for motorcycles and have started forest fires.
Excuse for a traffic stop on a slow say.
@@kemosabegt350geuss6😂
Can someone please, please teach these officers what a Rosary looks like? Please!
The easiest thing would of course have been to block him with the cops' tank-like cars..🤔
I don't know that stranger I just met him and asked for a ride I met him through my cousin . I don't have his phone number I don't know if my cousin has his number either.
Why can't cops say to their face WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU LYING TO ME LIAR?
Meth. Even the guy that walked up with the hat on that went away cursing the police.
Another example of Lyndon Johnson's Great Society!
Her acting won’t keep her out of jail.
live and learn officers !
She looks just like her brother and father.
Bruh they really arrested this woman for failure to appear on jaywalking - a petty misdemeanor - after she got ran tf over?
This is why people don't call police. You can bet your bottom dollar if there was an issue in the future she won't call them.
That wasn't all she was charged with.
